Police are investigating vandalism -- spray-painted words of profanity -- on the exterior of Darien High School.
At 6 a.m. June 8, police received a report from the school's head custodian that vulgar words, along with "Seniors `14" and other phrases were painted in orange and purple on the exterior windows and walls of the cafeteria, the report stated. Some of the slurs named the assistant principals of the high school, police said.
The custodial staff cleaned most of the paint by Monday morning, police said. It's estimated the cost for the cleanup is $250, police said.
