DAC plans annual art show

The Darien Arts Center is encouraging local artists of all ages to participate in its annual art show and sale. The show, which has been a Darien tradition for 56 years, will take place May 31 to June 7 in the DAC's Weatherstone Studio, 2 Renshaw Road. Artists can register at darienarts.org and entries can be dropped off entries Sunday, May 25, from noon to 4 p.m. and Tuesday, May 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. Planning the event is the Darien Art Show and Sale Committee, which includes, front row from left, DAC Executive Director Amy Allen, chairman Sarah Ritchey, Jolanda Sutherland and Lisa Thoren. Back row, Meg Tweedy, Mindy Green, Beth Cherico and Ann Laczko. The painting by Isabel Sutherland will be featured on the show poster. For information, call 203- 655-8683.
