Larry Kudlow, CNBC anchorman and nationally syndicated columnist, will be the keynote speaker at the New Covenant House of Hospitality's 10th annual celebrity breakfast April 22.
The event, which will be from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Woodway Country Club of Darien, will raise funds for the Stamford-based soup kitchen.
New Covenant House of Hospitality provides its guests with three meals a day year-round, in excess of 700,000 annually. Further, NCH's After School Meal Program, which is conducted in partnership with the Yerwood Center and Inspirica Programs, serves 275 hot meals daily.
Kudlow, anchor of The Kudlow Report, also is the host of The Larry Kudlow Show, which broadcasts each Saturday on WABC Radio and is syndicated nationally by Citadel Media. Kudlow is a contributing editor of National Review magazine, as well as a columnist and economics editor for National Review Online. He is the author of "American Abundance: The New Economic and Moral Prosperity."
"Money raised during the celebrity breakfast will help to feed the hungry," Heide Moeller, event chairman, said in a release. "By attending this breakfast, our supporters will share their generosity as well as help to raise awareness of our less fortunate neighbors here in lower Fairfield County. This year, because of the depressed economy, we need help more than ever."
Tickets are $200 per person. In addition, corporate sponsor tables of 10 range from $3,000 to $10,000. Checks may be made payable to "New Covenant House Breakfast" and mailed to NCH, 90 Fairfield Ave., P.O. Box 10883, Stamford CT 06902. For information, call 203-964-8228 or visit www.nchstamford.org.
