Thirty-three girls and boys graduated June 10 from Pear Tree Point School in Darien. Family and friends gathered at midday on the campus for a luncheon under the tent and then moved on to nearby New Beginnings Community Church for the afternoon ceremonies.

Opening with "Dig It!," the student drama performance, the audience was taken on a tour of ancient civilizations through song and dance, reflecting much of the students' Core Knowledge curriculum.

At the Moving Up ceremony that followed, Headmaster David Trigaux welcomed the graduates and their guests. The program continued with student and teacher remarks and a slide show "walk" down memory lane. Certificates of completion were awarded to each graduate by Trigaux and Assistant Head of School Cricket Mikheev.
