Kevin Fullington and Michael Nedder were appointed by the Board of Selectmen June 16 to fill vacancies on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Their terms end on June 30, 2015. Fullington was appointed an alternate.
They were unanimously recommended June 14 by the Darien Republican Town Committee as candidates.
Fullington, a Fordham Law School graduate, is a partner with Herrick, Feinstein LLP and co-chairman of Government Relations Practices. He has lived in Darien for five years with his wife and their two children, both attending elementary school in town.
Fullington believes the most important issue facing the ZBA is protecting the neighborhood quality of the community while still allowing people to have free use of their property within the requirements of law.
Nedder, also a Fordham Law School graduate, is a managing partner of Nedder & Associates LLC. He has lived in Darien for 35 years with his wife and three children, who also attend elementary school in town.
Nedder believes in a fair and balanced approach to the needs of applicants and their neighbors, as well as the importance of consistency in board decisions.
